Brian Eisentraut

Brian became involved with Camp Hemlock as a young child when he first attended Stockade camp in 1983. He fell in love with the outdoor adventures and the fun junior staff. As a camper he participated in Stockade, Observer, and Battalion camps before completing the S.A.L.T. program. Brian served as junior staff, S.A.L.T. leader, and Program Director. He loved camp so much he proposed to his wife at the Rock Gardens. He returned to camp with his own children volunteering in every program they could do. Brian holds a BS in elementary education from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Previously he taught twenty-four years in the Howard County Public School System in Maryland. He and his wife Beth have two teenage children, Megan and Will. brian@camphemlock.org
