Brian Eisentraut
Executive Director
Brian became involved with Camp Hemlock as a young child when he first attended Stockade camp in 1983. He fell in love with the outdoor adventures and the fun junior staff. As a camper he participated in Stockade, Observer, and Battalion camps before completing the S.A.L.T. program. Brian served as junior staff, S.A.L.T. leader, and Program Director. He loved camp so much he proposed to his wife at the Rock Gardens. He returned to camp with his own children volunteering in every program they could do. Brian holds a BS in elementary education from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Johns Hopkins University. He taught 24 years in the public school system. Brian holds a local minister’s license with the Church of the Nazarene and is also a member of the Church Board. He and his wife Beth have two children, Megan and Will, age 20 and 17.
