It is hard to be a Christian teenager and leader today. Negative influences surround young people. How can a young man survive and thrive in this culture and work towards making his faith his own?
Cornerstone Challenge is exclusively for high school young men. Grow your confidence and become the Christian leader you were meant to be through interactive discussions, immersive leadership development activities, personal opportunities to lead, sports activities, and other team-building adventures (including canoeing and paintball), group reflection, and more.
Our program examines leadership through the lens of seven Godly standards: (1) Christian character, (2) Christian influence, (3) Christian righteousness, (4) Christian piety, (5) Christian ambition, (6) Christian relationships, and (7) Christian commitment.
Participants can expect to experience and learn about:
- God’s perfect will for your life and your hidden leadership abilities
- Ethical decision-making
- Leadership styles and principles
- Critical thinking skills
- Team building and motivating others
- Personal responsibility and goal setting
- Defending and maintaining your faith
- Effective communication and public speaking

“I never really knew what to do as a leader or how to lead, but the five leadership principles have helped me understand how to lead.” -Isaac
“I learned that you have to be focused in order to lead effectively. I also learned that I have many different skills that I didn’t think I even had.” -Ethan
“My favorite part was hanging out and spending time with the other guys. I don’t often get to spend time solely with other Christians so it was a great way to grow together.” -Will
