Summer 2021 Programs

Family Camp

Bring your family to Camp Hemlock.  Family Camp is available to adults and children who live in your household regardless of age and gender:  Father and child(ren), mother and child(ren), both parents and child(ren).  Stay in your own rustic cabin.  Get ready for a half week of family memories.  Activities available to you include archery, slingshot, tomahawk, fire building, craft, Rock Gardens hike, swimming and canoeing at Trout Pond, scavenger hunt, crayfish hunting, Werth Hall games, pool, family devotionals, star gazing, time to relax, and more.  You can also choose to bring your own bicycles and fishing gear.  The schedule is relaxed and customizable to your interests.

Cost
$150 per person for the first four people. Any additional family members will be $75 per person. Children three and under are free. Late fee of $35 applies once to any family registration received after June 1.

Camp in a Day

Load up the car and come to Camp Hemlock for a one-day visit.  Camp in a Day is available to adults and children regardless of age and gender. Hike to the Rock Gardens and explore the nearby Boulder Field.  Swim in the pool or try your hand at archery, slingshot, tomahawk, crayfish hunting, games in Werth Hall, and more.  You can also choose to bring your own bike and fishing gear.  The schedule is relaxed and customizable to your interests.

Cost
$35 per person. Late fee of $10 per person for any registration received after June 1.

SALT (Servant and Leadership Training)

Young men fifteen and older can come out for two weeks of developing leadership skills, fostering a deeper relationship with Jesus through individual and group Bible studies, instruction on safe outdoor camping skills, and preparation to be on junior staff the following summer.  You will be stretched physically, relationally, and spiritually.  There is an intensity to SALT that may not be the best choice for all individuals.  An application and interview are required.

LACE (Leadership and Camping Experience)

Young women finishing 8th & 9th grade can participate in L.A.C.E. this year. The unique program focuses on becoming a woman of God through Bible study, service projects, team building, and a more challenging level of traditional camp activities. L.A.C.E. is required for those seeking to become a junior counselor the following year.
