Explorer Camp

Explorer Camp is for boys who have completed seventh or eighth grade and have been active in Battalion for at least one year. This camp is the perfect next step for boys who attended Observer Camp last summer though that is not a prerequisite.

Boys will further develop their camping skills as they participate in an overnight backpacking trip, canoe trip and other outdoor adventures. Outdoor skills will include map and compass, outdoor cooking and knife and ax use. The Bible study for the week will be based on portions of the battalion achievement book, Adventure Trails.

Plan to come with a bonafide backpack and personal camping equipment.
